About Little Dog Rescue

Little Dog Rescue of North Texas is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all-volunteer animal rescue organization based in Little Elm, Texas. Our mission is to act as rescue partners with North Texas animal shelters by providing veterinary care, in-home fostering, and carefully placed adoptions of small breed dogs.
We also take in little dogs from owners who can no longer care for them.
Little Dog Rescue of North Texas’ intake often involves major surgical procedures on dogs hit by cars, injured from abusive situations or hoarding seizures.
We focus our community educational efforts on responsible pet ownership and reducing overpopulation by spaying and neutering. All dogs are vetted prior to being available for fostering or adoption.
